STEP RI science and technology park of the University of Rijeka d.o.o.
STEP RI science and technology park of the University of Rijeka is an entrepreneurial support institution founded in 2008 by the University of Rijeka, with the support of the Business and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Croatia – BICRO, the City of Rijeka and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. With its support program for starting businesses and an experienced team of mentors and business advisors, STEP RI implements programs and educations based on the latest global knowledge of innovation and management.
In addition to supporting innovative products, services and business models, companies and scientific institutions that want to improve their business and increase competitiveness can receive a comprehensive business consulting service at STEP RI, from support for digitization and organizational growth to conquering new markets. Independently and with partners in Croatia and Europe, STEP RI implements projects financed by the European Union and the United States of America, from Croatian national and local programs, and from the funds of large Croatian companies that support innovation and entrepreneurship. Since 2010, more than 50 projects with a total value of more than HRK 225 million have been contracted, of which STEP Ri owns a HRK 21 million share.
