The electrification of public bus passenger transport of KD Autotrolej d.o.o. represents a continuation of the modernization of the transport fleet and the overall business of KD Autotrolej. The introduction of electric buses into business represents a significant ecological, economic and technological shift for public transport operators in the Republic of Croatia, with significant changes in the structure and organization of transport, maintenance, etc. evident. The main objective of the project is the modernization of public urban and suburban transport of KD Autotrolej and the promotion of the use of alternative fuel vehicles, while the proposed project will achieve the following specific objectives:

• Improving the sustainability of public transport
• Increasing the quality of transport services
• Development of infrastructure for charging electric buses
• Adaptation to EU standards.

The most important project activity is the procurement of 20 electric buses. The activity begins with the preparation and implementation of the procurement procedure for selecting suppliers.
