Rijeka development agency Porin is managing business incubators of the City of Rijeka and their programs by providing support to the entrepreneurs through all stages of their development. The goal of the incubators is to provide easier access to business premises, useful education, counselling and business opportunities, which encourages economic growth and development in a challenging business environment.
Entrepreneurs, especially at the beginning of their business journey, have the opportunity to use favourable conditions for renting business premises, as well as professional support in order to reduce technical and administrative costs. In RDA Porin’s incubators, they operate in a stimulating environment with other business entities, which further facilitates the growth and development of their activities.
Rijeka development agency Porin manages the Torpedo Business Incubator for companies working in the service sector with a total of 637.75 m² of space distributed at two addresses (Milutina Barača 66 and Milutina Barača 62), and the Technological – Educational Business Incubator Torpedo Production Park, which is used by entrepreneurs acting in the production sector with a net usable area of 1,557 ,34 m² at the Milutina Barača 60 address. It is expected that during 2025 Rijeka development agency Porin will also take over the management of Sinergana, a new incubator for creative technologies and the IT industry that will be located in the Energana – the completely renovated former power plant of the Rijeka Paper Mill.
In addition to the incubation, post-incubation, acceleration and virtual incubation programs, entrepreneurs have access to specialized, common and business spaces within the incubator, the possibility of renting meeting rooms and halls, as well as modernly equipped coworking spaces.
